A Home Away From Home
Ministering to college age students is a priority at the Deer Creek Church of Christ. We want to be their church "home away from home" while they are working on their education. We strive to connect the group with the rest of the congregation. College age students can expect a loving church family who will challenge them to grow in their faith, and grow closer to God. Students are treated to a free lunch after services on Sunday and free dinner at the church building before Wednesday service. We hope to make you part of our Deer Creek church family.
We also understand the transition from college to being a young adult. We have been developing a class designed for students transition into the working environment. we have a good group of young adults trying to navigate these waters together.
A Message from the College Minister:
I hope you get a chance to visit and join our Deer Creek Family. My name is Joshua Basic and I've been the college minister for 2 years now. We have a lot of fun events planned for the upcoming year. These include events as small as free dinners, bible studies, game nights, and large as a boating trip and a spring break ski trip. I love coffee, frisbee golf, and good food! I would love to answer any questions you might have about our family and get to know you better.
